WRITING PACKAGES FOR BLOCKED WRITERS, TO JUMP-START A PROJECT, OR TO BEGIN OR COMPLETE A PROJECT QUICKLY

If you are under deadline pressure or feel stuck, you may want to commit to a certain number of weekly one-on-one phone sessions and writing feedback in order to get the ball rolling. If deadlines are useful to you, we will set a page limit of 5-10 pages a week that you will regularly mail to me. A $65 one-time fee will be charged to set up your plan.

Option 1:
Six-Session Package: $555 (Usually six weeks)

Weekly phone conferences and feedback will help you progress and meet your writing goals.

• 6 phone sessions at $65 an hour = $390
• 6 hours reading time at $55 an hour = $330.
• Total = $720
  ($360 in advance and $360 after four weeks together.)

Option 2:
Twelve-session Package: $1110 (Usually twelve weeks)

In three months, you should have had time to fine-tune your process and complete an appreciable amount of work.

• 12 phone sessions at $65 an hour = $780.
• 12 hours of reading time at $55 an hour = $660
• Total = $1,440.
  ($480 in advance, and $480 after six and nine weeks.)

Option 3:
You suggest a package if neither of these two fit your needs.

Why pay in advance?
Because often people who are having trouble writing or completing a project are ambivalent about it. Making a commitment is the first step in resolving the problem, and getting the work done.
